How did they persuade others? What resources did they use? What were the critical

issues/major problems? How did it help the organization?

I persuaded them by proving my skillset through knowledge and experience. It’s easier to respect someone as a leader who has been in their positions- both in life and as an employee. I knew if I could earn their respect, everything else would fall into place accordingly.

Side note: I do not ever expect respect when coming into a new organization. I earn it. That’s important for the staff culture.

What resources did you use?

I used my personal experiences working in the same industry. I try to remember what worked for me to adapt to changes and what did not. Coming in with a Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration and announcing creates a sense of entitlement. I don’t do that. Productive operational workflow has more to do with the people than the actual business side. Master the people, and the business will thrive.

Were the issues being changed major problems or critical issues?

Both.

Did you help the organization?

Without a doubt. The organization has structure, leaderships, and increased revue margins.
