Part 1 A : 50% – 1500 words Based on any one of the case studies from Unit 1 (Patrick, Paul or Tracy), develop a behavioural plan for the service user identified, discussing the following: • Gaining consent from the service user • Gathering all appropriate background information • Recording the behaviour • Identifying the function of the behaviour • Identify how you as a social care worker could support the person through a MEBS approach and by increasing their wellbeing. • In your response, consider the service user’s autonomy and the engagement of significant others in any MEBS. • Identify how you would ensure all stakeholders’ safety and dignity during any intervention.
