For your chosen book, write a rhetorical analysis of how the author has made specific choices in language, structure, perspective, and/or types of evidence in order to achieve their intended purpose (as you understand it). This will require analysis of specific textual choices the author makes within the text (not broad paraphrases and summary) and connecting those choices to desired outcomes in their intended audience. You will need to incorporate a minimum of eight quotes from the book in your essay as you analyze the devices the author employs to execute their argument.
