As you are reading the chapter, take notes of parts that you find particularly interesting, confusing, or in general worth taking for notes, as well as any questions you may have. To offer an incentive to read the text book, you will receive points for uploading your notes to that chapter’s summary assignment. This can be as short as half a page or as long as you like, since they are for your own use and benefit, you do not need to follow the standard requirements for citation and can copy/paste freely. You should have enough detail to show me you have read the chapter. Hand written has been shown to be best for helping your recall, but it’s your choice.
