To complete this assignment, you will craft an 8-slide PowerPoint® presentation about three of the theories of politics and public policy introduced in this unit’s readings. The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize yourself with the various theories of politics and public policy, expand your knowledge of public policy, and identify where specific theories can be best applied to policy actions or specific policy examples.
The assignment must meet the following college writing expectation:
Writing should establish the purpose of the presentation with a clear, sustained point of view.
Writing should follow the conventions of Standard English (correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling).
Writing should be well ordered, logical, and unified as well as original and insightful.

Craft an 8-Slide PowerPoint Presentation With the Following Format:
Slide 1: Title Slide
Include the following: Your name, course information, assignment title, date of completion (or term)
Slide 2: First Theory
Place the name of the first theory to be discussed at the top of the slide (e.g., “Group Theory,” “Elite Theory”).
Provide a referenced explanation of the theory using the course text or other appropriate academic source(s).
Slide 3: First Policy Example
At the top of the slide, place the name of the specific policy or policy action that exemplifies the theory discussed on the previous slide.
Briefly summarize the policy or policy action (citing the policy itself or other references as appropriate).
Explain, in your own words, how the chosen policy or policy action exemplifies the theory discussed in the previous slide. (e.g., If you chose “group theory” for the previous slide, then identify a specific group that promoted [lobbied for] or was otherwise involved in the formation of the policy and explain how the group played a part in the policy’s history or guided policy action).

Place the name of the second theory to be discussed at the top of the slide (e.g., “Group Theory,” “Elite Theory,”).
