CISA is responsible for strengthening cybersecurity and infrastructure protection across all levels of government, coordinating cybersecurity programs with U.S. states, and improving the government’s cybersecurity protections against private and nation-state hackers. But the role and mission of CISA is still debated.

Discuss its mission to protect the nation’s critical infrastructure.
Identify all stakeholders that CISA must coordinate with and their role in protecting against cyber threats.
Analyze CISA’s responsibilities to ensure the effective coordination of the federal government and its homeland security stakeholders.
