Use the Chamberlain MPH Site Selection Workbook (Links to an external site.) to conduct some preliminary planning for the Applied Practice Experience. It is never too early to consider what opportunities are available where you can immerse yourself in the public health community. Remember, look within your local community and consider your own network of professionals.
After viewing the MPH Applied Practice Experience (APE) Orientation and uploading your Certificate of Completion to the Module 4 Assignment, respond to the following questions.
- What steps will you take to research and identify a community organization and community preceptor?
- Describe your areas of interest and identify one possible site that you will investigate as a potential match for APE.
- What information will you submit with your APE application?
- Who can best support you with the application process?
