t or Keynote arrange screenshots of select
parts of your database to showcase the design, data stored and information
output:
a. The Relationship Window – you may need to take more than one screenshot
to cover the whole diagram, then crop and joint to make one diagram. The
whole diagram needs to fit on one slide.
b. Tables – each table must show both Design Mode and Data Mode – one table
per slide; design on the left and data on the right.
c. Queries – each query must be shown in Design Mode and Data Output Mode –
one Query per slide; design on the left and data on the right.
If you have customised the SQL, show the SQL view on another slide and
highlight the changed code.
2. Create a PDF file.
a. Export (Save As…) your PowerPoint or Keynote as a PDF file (High Resolution)
b. Check the readability of your PDF file (blurred images will loose marks or be
awarded zero marks)
G. Upload your files to Canvas
1. Upload both your PDF showcase file and the MS Access database file (ACCDB) to
Canvas
2. Only the PDF file will be marked; the ACCDB file is used to detect plagiarism and
collusion
3. Both files (PDF or ACCDB) must be presented; if either file is missing, a mark of
zero will be awarded.
